A crise na Irlanda leva proprietários de cavalos a deixá-los morrer de fome. Por curiosidade, esse país foi escolhido para figurar como paraíso fiscal quando, em 2008, escrevia o livro "Quer Apostar?" À época, a Irlanda florescia. O abalo econômico que se seguiu e atingiu o mundo todo não foi superado pelo país, que hoje faz parte do PIGS: Portugal, Irlanda, Grécia e Espanha, grupo que passa por séria crise financeira, de consequência drástica.

Horses are left to die of hunger by their owners in Ireland. Just as a curiosity, this country was chosen to appear as tax haven when, in 2008, the book "Quer Apostar?" was being written. By then, Ireland bloomed. The economic shake that followed and took the world all around was not overcome by the country, which is part today of the PIGS: Portugal, Ireland, Greece and Spain, a group that faces a terrible financial crisis of dramatic consequences.

Era uma vez/Once upon a time

Esta é uma história que não canso de contar: anos atrás, a maioria dos cavalos que se tornavam campeões nas exposições nacionais brasileiras era de estrangeiros, importados. Quando a égua Tifany entrou na competição, a vibração era intensa, inclusive da plateia que queria realmente ver um produto "made in Brazil" vencer. E não deu outra: a bela levou o título para casa e arrebatou o coração de muitos. Nascida em 1981, em seus últimos anos fez parte do plantel do Haras Namahê Agropecuária Ltda.

Em janeiro de 2009, aos vinte oito anos, Tifany procurou novas pastagens, mas deixou como representante outra beldade: Iehudith NY, por Snowshill Ariseyn. Também descendente dela, o Reservado Campeão Nacional Western Pleasure Sênior de 2010 - título este que, muitos dizem, foi recebido injustamente, pois deveria ter sido o número um, como, acertadamente, um único juiz viu: Clef des Champs NY (por Excentric NAEJ), 1,57 de cernelha, tordilho de 2005, cuja primeira filha (Twist, com Beladdina APP) é um encanto para os olhos e o próximo produto deverá nascer em março de 2011, com a reprodutora Candy Bar Bey NY. Coberturas estão disponíveis aos interessados.

A foto acima nos foi gentilmente enviada pela família Florezi, e data da época da vitória na nacional, junto com seu orgulhoso treinador e apresentador Beto.

This is a story that I never tire to tell. Many years ago only imported horses won the great majority of the classes judged on the Brazilian Nationals. When the mare Tifany came into the arena, the crowd really cheared her all the way to number one: it was a pleasure to have one truly Brazilian born win the competition. Born in 1981, her last years were spent at Namahê Stud Farm as broodmare.

In January 2009, at twenty eight years, Tifany went in search of greener pastures, but left as her representative the also beautiful Iehudith NY (by Snowshill Ariseyn). Carrying their pedigrees is the Brazilian Nationals Western Pleasure Senior Reserve Champion - some say that this title is not fair, since he should have been the Champion, as rightfully one judge saw: Clef des Champs NY. A gray 2005, he is 1.57 hands, and his first filly (Twist, with Beladdina APP) is a real joy to the eyes. His next offspring is expected for March 2011, with Candy Bar Bey NY. Semen available for interested parties.
